Two Bowling Green Hot Rods played major roles in Tuesday's Midwest League All-Star Game.
Jeff Malm scored three times and Tyler Goeddel hit a two-run home run in the East Division's 18-2 victory over the West. Malm also singled, walked and had an RBI. Goeddel also singled.
Also batting for the Hot Rods: Matt Rice knocked in two runs, Josh Sale walked and scored, and Ryan Brett was 0-for-2. Pitching for the Rods: Felipe Rivero gave up a hit and issued a walk in his inning, while Jake Partridge recorded two outs. Not pitching, but in uniform, for the Rods: Jake Floethe.
