Brad Coon's three-run, go-ahead double highlighted a six-run sixth inning that gave the Biscuits a 6-4 win over the Chattanooga Lookouts in the opening game of Monday's doubleheader.
The finale will begin about 8:45 p.m.
The Biscuits had just two hits through five innings before their six-run outburst. With one out, Omar Luna doubled, Ryan Garko singled and Tyler Bortnick hit an RBI double. After a passed ball moved Bortnick to third, Mike Sheridan and pinch-hitter Kyeong Kang walked.
Coon hit an opposite-field double over left fielder Brahiam Maldonado's head that cleared the bases. He went to third on the throw home and scored on a Mark Thomas flyout.
