Stone Crabs' Rearick registers All-Star save

Charlotte Stone Crabs stopper Chris Rearick picked up a save Saturday in the Florida State League All-Star Game. Rearick capped the South Division's 6-3 win over the North with a one-hit, three-strikeout ninth inning.

Stone Crabs left-hander C.J. Riefenhauser was the starting pitcher. He issued a walk and struck out two in his one inning.

Mikie Mahtook started in center field and Derek Dietrich at second base. (Dietrich later moved to his usual shortstop.) Mahtook was 1-for-3 with a walk and an RBI. Dietrich finished 0-for-3.

St. Lucie Mets third baseman Wilmer Flores was the MVP. He was 3-for-4 with a walk, three RBIs and a run scored.
