Moore continues strikeout surge

Charlotte's Matt Moore threw seven shutout innings tonight and totaled 10 strikeouts, giving him a Florida State League-leading 143 whiffs this season. Moore didn't factor in tonight's decision -- a 2-1, 11-inning Stone Crabs win at Clearwater -- but he has 57 Ks in his last 37 1/3 innings.
