Three Biscuits are featured on the Southern League's initial All-Star roster: designated hitter Kyeong Kang, utility infielder Omar Luna and pitcher Shane Dyer.
Luna has a .300 average with 28 RBIs and 28 runs scored, while Kang leads the Biscuits with nine home runs and also has 29 RBIs.
Dyer was 4-2 with a 2.03 ERA in eight starts before a mid-May promotion to Triple-A Durham. That came just after the cutoff for SL All-Star vote eligibility. He'll (obviously) be replaced.
The Mississippi Braves have the most players (seven) on the initial roster. The Mobile BayBears follow with six, Pensacola Blue Wahoos with five and the Jacksonville Suns with four.
The Tennessee Smokies are hosting the June 19 game.
