Jeff Davis graduate D.J. Jones, who didn't sign after being drafted in the 22nd round last year, went in the 20th round Wednesday.
The outfielder was the 20th-round choice of the Toronto Blue Jays. Jones played this spring at Hillsborough Community College in Tampa, Fla.
Jones struggled and finished with just a .205 batting average in 32 games. He also pitched 25 1/3 innings and was 1-2 with a 2.13 ERA. Jones was a .559 hitter at JD as a senior with 35 steals and 49 runs scored.
AUM pitcher Cory McGinnis was a 22nd-round pick of the Chicago White Sox. McGinnis was 6-4 with a 4.42 ERA this year.
