Stacy,
This may seem odd, but I just want to say thanks for all your efforts. I don't know what the protocol is for this, whatever it is I know I don't say thanks enough. I've been reading your columns on my Google reader for so many years now, it's amazing to me how consistent you have been in informing your readers on everything Biscuits and Rays minors related matters everyday during the last (nearly) decade. I don't know why today is the day I finally say it, but I can't express my appreciation enough. You're the best beat writer in baseball (though I also enjoy Topkin). While I'm sure you love covering sports there in Montgomery, I hope you get the "call" someday if that's what you want. You deserve it.
Jay
Thank you. One thing is the Advertiser has always been supportive and given me a tremendous amount of space. If I've had an idea, they've let me do it.
It also eases the pain of football season. =)
