Durham ties International League series

Jeff Niemann allowed six hits over eight innings and the Durham Bulls won Game 2 of the International League championship series, beating the Richmond Braves 5-1.

Niemann walked none, struck out nine and surrendered a third-inning home run to Gregor Blanco.

Evan Longoria and Michel Hernandez had two RBIs each for Durham. The best-of-5 series, tied 1-1, moves to Richmond on Thursday.
