Hughes feels bad for uncle

Biscuits infielder Rhyne Hughes had a cool demeanor Saturday after his uncle lost in a matchup of top Mississippi high school football teams.

South Panola, ranked No. 1 in Mississippi, won its 62nd straight game with a 42-0 win over No. 2 Clarksdale on Friday. Clarksdale coach Jim Hughes is Rhyne's uncle.

South Panola has won four straight Mississippi 5A championships (that's the state's largest classification). The 62-game win streak is the nation's longest active streak.
