Wade Davis revealed some details about the offseason hunting trip that led him to bring venison to spring training (with video) this year.
Davis went to New York and recorded his first kill with a bow and arrow. The deer, which was in a group of three, was a five-pointer (with a malformed rack) that weighed about 170 pounds. Davis' shot covered about 20 yards.
"They practically walked under my stand," Davis said.
