The Biscuits gave a helping hand to two Birmingham Barons' efforts to win the Southern League's weekly awards.
Infielder C.J. Retherford had two home runs and five RBIs Friday against the Biscuits. He was 8-for-21 with 11 RBIs and six extra-base hits last week. Pitcher Aaron Poreda's biggest positive was a five-inning no-hitter against West Tenn last Monday. Poreda also beat the Biscuits on Saturday, allowing three earned runs in six innings.
