Injuries hit Biscuits, who add Powell

Biscuits outfielder Jason Perry broke a wrist Tuesday and will miss 3-6 weeks. Perry was hit by a pitch.

Pedro Powell, who was hitting .308 and was 12-for-13 on steals, has been promoted from high-Class A Charlotte.

Powell, who turned 25 last week, is a seventh-year pro originally drafted by the Pirates in 2003. He hit .148 in 45 games last year at Double-A Altoona before his release. He has 252 -- not 256 -- career steals.

Stacy, Where do you get your stats?

Number of steals 256?

I usually make up stats off the top of my head.

I had to take a few minutes to figure out what the hell you were talking about, but I have now.

EVERYONE, THAT SHOULD BE 252 CAREER STEALS.
