Hellickson to start throwing program

The Rays are being cautious with Biscuits pitcher Jeremy Hellickson and his recovery from a shoulder injury.

Hellickson will start a throwing program Monday with hopes that he'll return later this month. He'll throw from 45 feet and from flat ground Monday before working up.

"The target date we have is May 23," manager Billy Gardner said.
