Florida State is on its way to an NCAA regional championship. The Seminoles lead Ohio State 35-2 in the middle of the eighth.
The Buckeyes didn't get what you'd call a quality start from Jared Strayer, who gave up seven runs without recording an out. One reliever picked up two outs at the price of seven runs. Another posted one out and 11 runs on the scoreboard.
UPDATE: Uh, oh. Lookout. Here come the Buckeyes. Ohio State scored twice in the bottom of the eighth to pull within 31 runs.
UPDATE: Dang Buckeye bullpen. FSU scored two more to take a 37-4 lead into the bottom of the ninth. The Seminoles have 38 hits, including 15 doubles, two triples and three home runs.
7:02 UPDATE: It's final. FSU 37-6.
