Sunday lineups; Rollins to make spot start Monday

The Biscuits and Birmingham Barons start a three-game series with postgame fireworks today at Riverwalk. Why, you may wonder, after playing all five-game series in the first half, does the Southern League play two six-game series followed by a three-gamer and four-gamer? That's so every team can pop firecrackers July 3 or 4 and start the All-Star break after the July 10 games.

One news item right now: Pitcher Heath Rollins is scheduled to make a spot start Monday. That means, after Jeremy Hall goes tonight, all of Montgomery's regular starters have one start left before the break.
