Leslie Anderson had two hits, including a solo home run in the second. Jay Buente surrendered six first-inning runs and lasted just 2 2/3. Russ Canzler singled and walked.
Stone Crabs 10, Bradenton 1Tyler Bortnick hit an eighth-inning grand slam, walked twice and grounded into a double play. Jake Jefferies had two RBIs and scored twice. Greg Sexton finished with two hits and a plunking. Alex Koronis gave up one run on four innings in five innings. Michael Jarman and Scott Shuman each threw two hitless innings.
Hot Rods 5, West Michigan 2Nick Schwaner hit a go-ahead, three-run triple in the fourth. Robby Price was 3-for-4 with a double, RBI and two runs scored. Marcus Jensen gave up two runs (one earned) in five innings. Jimmy Patterson went 2 2/3 and Austin Hubbard 1 1/3 behind him.
