Tim Beckham's two-run double in the eighth inning gave the Biscuits a 2-1 win over the Jacksonville Suns on Monday, their seventh victory in eight games.
Reid Fronk hit a one-out double and Shawn O'Malley reached on an error. Both scored on Beckham's hit to the left-field wall.
Montgomery right-hander Shane Dyer worked seven innings -- the longest outing by a Biscuits starter this year -- but didn't factor in the decision. He gave up one run on eight hits.
