Left-handed pitcher Cory Wade, who had a 1.23 ERA in 21 appearances, has been released at Triple-A Durham. He likely had an opt-out clause in his contract. The 28-year-old had been with the Los Angeles Dodgers his entire career, including 82 appearances in the majors in 2008-09, until this season.
Last week, the Bulls swapped a starter for a reliever, releasing Edgar Gonzalez and signing Lance Cormier.
