Biscuits pitching coach Bill Moloney made an impromptu pregame visit to Riverwalk Stadium on Saturday, five days after he was mugged and shot in the left thigh.
"It's nice to get out here and see the team and the boys and everybody," said Moloney, who said he wouldn't stay for Saturday night's game. He said he might "see how things go" Sunday or Monday and return to the team.
"I'm taking it day-by-day," Moloney said. "I try to do a little more each day with my therapy."
UPDATE: They convinced Moloney to stick around for a few innings. He's watching from the best vantage point possible -- the press box.
