Archer's 10 Ks a season high

Biscuits starter Chris Archer totaled a season-high 10 strikeouts in six innings against the Jacksonville Suns. He lasted six innings and gave up two runs (one earned) on two hits -- but walked five. It's the second time this year a Montgomery hurler has hit double figures. (Matt Moore had 11 vs. Jacksonville on May 26.)
