Brandon Guyer singled twice and scored twice. Russ Canzler hit a three-run home run in the first. Brian Baker surrendered five runs in three innings, including back-to-back homers in a five-run third.

Mike Sheridan was 3-for-4 with a double and a caught stealing. Anthony Scelfo had two singles, a steal, an RBI and a walk. Tyler Bortnick singled, walked, scored and erred. Jake Thompson worked five innings, giving up two runs on seven hits.
Hot Rods 4, Clinton 2 (10)Steve Tinoco knocked in Todd Glaesmann with the go-ahead run and Derek Dietrich scored on a wild pitch in the 10th. Tinoco was 2-for-4 with a walk. Robi Estrada singled and walked twice. Enny Romero's seven innings featured two runs on five hits. Austin Hubbard (4-0) worked two hitless innings with two walks. Chris Rearick polished off his ninth save.
