Patterson going back to Stone Crabs

Reliever Jimmy Patterson was sent back to high-Class A Charlotte after Thursday's game, allowing Montgomery to activate Jim Paduch. Paduch is scheduled to start Friday. Patterson joined the team Sunday from the Stone Crabs and made one appearance, allowing one earned run in 3 1/3 innings.
