Riccio Torrez singled, doubled and knocked in Derek Dietrich in the ninth. Nate Garcia threw three shutout innings. Starter Grayson Garvin shouldered six runs on eight hits in three innings.
Hot Rods 4, Quad Cities 3Jeff Malm's single in the bottom of the ninth scored Ryan Brett. Cameron Seitzer was 4-for-4 with a run scored and error. Todd Glaesmann homered and walked. Jason McEachern went 2 1/3 shutout and Charlie Cononie two shutout.
