Tyler Bortnick and Greg Sexton homered for Montgomery's only hits in a 3-2 win over the Tennessee Smokies on Sunday.
With two outs in the second inning, Bortnick hit a solo home run to make it 1-0. Brett Nommensen walked before Sexton hit a two-run blast to give the Biscuits a 3-0 lead.
Montgomery had only one other baserunner. Kyeong Kang walked with two outs in the sixth.
Biscuits starter Joe Cruz took a shutout into the sixth inning before giving up two runs. Marquis Fleming and Kirby Yates finished a five-hitter.
