Major-league rehabs to join Biscuits

Major-leaguers Josh Paul and Tim Corcoran will be on rehab assignments with the Biscuits this week.

Both went on the disabled list with elbow strains. Paul, a catcher, last played for Tampa Bay on May 19 and finished a five-day rehab stay at Class A Vero Beach on Friday. Corcoran, a pitcher, last played June 8.

Biscuits manager Billy Gardner Corcoran is expected to be in uniform Monday, while Paul isn't scheduled to arrive until late Monday and shouldn't play until Tuesday. Montgomery opens a home series with Mobile on Monday.
