The Devil Rays have sent Ty Wigginton to the Houston Astros for reliever Dan Wheeler in their third trade of the last two days.
Their two-day haul includes four relief pitchers, only one of whom was in the majors (Wheeler). Their bait was one major-leaguer (Wigginton) and three minor-leaguers.
Wheeler was 1-4 with a 5.07 ERA in 45 appearances for the Astros. He was 11-of-15 in save opportunities and last converted one June 8.
