Now shortstop Jason Bartlett appears headed to the disabled list with an ankle injury for the Rays and Joe Dillon is moving up from Durham.
Since Friday, here are those who've joined the DL and the player from Durham who has taken their role and, in a couple of places, those who have roughly taken their place with Durham.
Scott Kazmir (quad) -- David Price -- Matt DeSalvo from Atlantic League
Troy Percival (shoulder) -- Dale Thayer
Akinori Iwamura (knee) -- Reid Brignac -- Henry Mateo from Atlantic League
Jason Bartlett (ankle) -- Joe Dillon -- Brandon Chaves from MGM
Brian Shouse (elbow) -- Randy Choate
Last year, the Rays had just 14 in-season trips to the disabled list. Their most in a month was four in April.
