Mobile first baseman Paul Goldschmidt, the Southern League's most dominant hitter this season, won the league's player of the month for May.
Goldschmidt leads the league with 19 home runs, 53 RBIs, a .461 on-base percentage and a .674 slugging percentage. In May, he had eight homers, 26 RBIs and a league-high 26 runs scored.
