Brandon pair top minor league Rays in April
Durham outfielder Brandon Guyer and right-handed pitcher Brandon Gomes won Tampa Bay's organizational awards for April. Guyer hit .375 with five home runs, 12 RBIs and a .636 slugging percentage. Gomes had a 1.35 ERA with six saves and a 22-to-5 strikeout-to-walk ratio in 11 appearances.
