Lee grad Singleton wins indy league's award

Nick Singleton, a Robert E. Lee grad, won the independent American Association's weekly pitcher's award after a two-win week for the Wichita Wingnuts. Singleton worked 14 1/3 innings, allowing four earned runs on 10 hits with 16 strikeouts. He's 5-0 with a 3.00 ERA and 31 strikeouts this season. Singleton leads the league in wins and K's.
