Chris Murrill was 4-for-5 with three runs scored and a steal. Tyler Bortnick had two hits, two walks and two runs. Mike Sheridan doubled twice and scored twice.
South Bend 4, Hot Rods 2
Eliazer Suero threw six shutout innings and left with a 2-0 lead. Todd Glaesmann was 3-for-3 with a walk, RBI and outfield assist.
