Durham's Abreu wins International award
Durham right-hander Winston Abreu won the International League's pitcher of the week award today. He had three saves and no hits allowed in 5 2/3 innings over the last week. This year, Abreu is 3-1 with a 2.08 ERA, 14 saves, 22 hits allowed and 70 strikeouts in 47 2/3 innings.
