Princeton outfielder Cody Rogers and Hudson Valley pitcher Alex Colome won Tampa Bay's minor-league awards for July.
Rogers hit .353 in 21 July games with 18 RBIs and 18 runs scored. Rogers, 20, was a seventh-round draft pick this year from an Texas junior college.
Colome, a right-hander, was 3-0 with a 1.15 ERA in six starts. In 31 1/3 innings, he allowed 13 hits, walked 12 and struck out 43. The 20-year-old from the Dominican Republic is in his third pro season.
