Mississippi outfielder Jason Heyward will have Player of the Month credentials when he comes to Riverwalk Stadium this week.Heyward, who turned 20 on Sunday, won the Southern League's award for July, the league announced today. He hit a paltry .425 with a smattering of 19 RBIs and 17 runs scored last month.
Baseball America, in a midseason update to its prospect list, named Heyward the No. 1 prospect in the minor leagues.
