Blankenship an improvement on mayor for first pitch

Ken Blankenship, the executive director of the Central Alabama Sports Commission, threw out the ceremonial first pitch. Though he threw from the lip of the grass and was just a bit outside, Blankenship outperformed Mayor Todd Strange's 2009 first pitch.
