Center fielder Desmond Jennings, Tampa Bay's No. 1 prospect, will have the start of his season delayed because of his spring wrist injury.Jennings hit off a tee Wednesday and is scheduled to hit off a tee again Friday, but he won't be ready when Triple-A Durham opens its season next week. His possible return is unknown, he said.
"It shouldn't be too long because I'm feeling good, but I'm not trying to rush it," Jennings said. "I'll be back and ready to go soon."
