Biscuit seeks your online vote to take trip

Biscuits retail manager Monte Meyers and his daughter, Stephanie, are one set of nine finalists for an expenses-paid baseball trip. You can vote for them at Voting lasts until July 23 and you can vote once per day.

The trip they've planned would last 2,500 miles, last eight days and take them all the way to Minneapolis and back, with several points in between. It would, of course, test -- and maybe strain -- their father-daughter relationship.

"I think I can handle it. Maybe," said Stephanie, a Wetumpka High graduate who is headed to Jacksonville State for college. "I've done it for 18 years."

The two have taken trips to Tampa Bay to see the Rays -- last year, some go-kart racing was a non-baseball highlight. This trip would obviously be longer.

"It's not like we haven't done this before," Monte said. "It would be kind of neat."
