Biscuits outfielder John Shelby has been promoted to Triple-A Durham and Charlotte's Brett Nommensen is moving up to Montgomery.
Nommensen was hitting .282 with 48 runs scored and 43 RBIs for the Stone Crabs. He was 20-for-25 on steals. The third-year pro was an eighth-round draft pick in 2009.
Shelby had a .259 average and 12 home runs in 89 games with the Biscuits. Picked up in a trade from the White Sox near the end of spring training, Shelby will be making his Triple-A debut.

But we dont need another outfielder... Another questionable roster move in a season full of bad changes.
Is it possible that the rays brass is angry at our city or our teams ownership? It sure appears that way to the fans.
Uh... you do realize how the affiliated minor leagues work, right?
