Tuesday's Rays roundup

Rochester 3, Bulls 2
Dan Johnson
was 3-for-4 with a double and two runs scored. Russ Canzler doubled, singled, walked and had an RBI. Andy Sonnanstine posted a quality start.

Stone Crabs 9, Lakeland 0
Merrill Kelly
threw six shutout innings with five hits allowed and no walks. Tyler Bortnick walked twice, stole twice and scored twice. Hak-Ju Lee singled twice and scored twice. Mark Thomas had two singles, an RBI, walk and two runs scored. Matt Hall doubled, stole and walked twice. Mike Sheridan and Omar Luna each had two RBIs.

Staten Island 3, Renegades 2 (Game 1)
Juniel Querecuto
hit a two-run double in the fifth. Brian Bryles walked, stole second and third and scored.

Staten Island 8, Renegades 6 (Game 2)
Jeff Malm
hit a solo home run, doubled, walked and totaled four RBIs. Chris Winder had three hits, including a triple, and scored twice. Diogenes Luis singled, walked, stole twice and scored twice.

Princeton Rays 5, Johnson City 3
Ryan Brett
homered, singled twice, scored twice and erred. Junior Rodriguez homered, walked and scored twice. Felipe Rivero gave up one hit and two unearned runs in five innings. He walked none and struck out seven.

GCL Red Sox 4, Rays 1
Shay Crawford's
three shutout innings included two hits and eight strikeouts. Matthew Johnson knocked in Granden Goetzman, who had doubled, in the ninth. Ismel Antunez had three singles.
