Henry Wrigley's go-ahead, two-run single highlighted a four-run sixth inning that gave the Biscuits a 7-4 win over the Tennessee Smokies on Friday.
Kyeong Kang, who homered for the fourth time in five games, and Tim Beckham each scored twice for Montgomery. Matt Sweeney's two-run single capped the four-run sixth.
Biscuits starter Alex Colome, after giving up one run through five innings, ran into sixth-inning trouble. He gave up two runs in the sixth before leaving with just one out. Colome was making his Riverwalk debut.
Marquis Fleming (4-2) escaped the jam and worked 2 2/3 innings for the win. Zach Quate worked a perfect ninth for his 18th save.
