Hudson Valley first baseman Jeff Malm, after a 9-for-20 week that included eight walks, seven RBIs and seven runs scored, landed the New York-Penn League's weekly hitting award.
Malm capped it with a two-homer, four-RBI Sunday. He also hit two home runs last Monday to start the week. Malm has a .324 average, six homers, 16 RBIs and 15 runs scored in 21 games this season.
