Alex Cobb, after a four-run, three-hit first, followed with five no-run, two-hit innings and suffered his first loss. Dan Johnson singled twice and scored. Desmond Jennings walked and was plunked.
Fort Myers 9, Stone Crabs 3
Kyle Lobstein gave up five runs in the first and lasted 4 2/3 with seven runs. Anthony Scelfo and Omar Luna each had two hits and an RBI. Tyler Bortnick singled and walked.
Dayton 3, Hot Rods 2
Keith Castillo was 3-for-4 with a double and RBI. Hector Guevara singled twice and knocked in a run. Derek Dietrich had two hits and a walk. C.J. Riefenhauser's five innings included two runs on just two hits, a walk and seven strikeouts.
Renegades 8, Aberdeen 0Parker Markel and Mickey Jannis combined on a two-hitter. Markel went five innings with a walk and six strikeouts. Jannis went four with no walks and five whiffs. Each gave up a hit and plunked a batter. Cesar Guillen had three hits, an RBI and scored twice. Kyle Holloway doubled, walked, scored twice and had two RBIs.
Princeton Rays 3, Bluefield 2 (10)Drew Vettleson's two-out single in the 10th scored Jonathan Koscso. Ian Kendall threw 4 2/3 shutout innings. Junior Rodriguez homered and singled.
