Catcher Stephen Vogt didn't suffer a broken jaw when he took a foul ball of the jaw Monday, but he'll be out for a few games, manager Billy Gardner said. The Biscuits initially feared a broken jaw, but X-rays ruled that out.
"The news came back a lot more encouraging than we thought," Gardner said. "But it will be a few days before he gets back on the field."
Vogt is Montgomery's top offensive threat. He leads the team in batting average, home runs and RBIs.

I'm so relieved. I was there. It was very scary. Any updates yet on Reinforcing the roster after losing 6 players to Durham this week? (Like.... a 2nd catcher, 2 starting pitchers, etc.) We only have 9 pitchers on the whole team.
I'm happy for Matt Moore & Marquis Flemming on their promotions. They were well deserved.
Nothing yet.
