The Biscuits have put right-handed starter Albert Suarez on their disabled list and added reliever Andrew Bellatti from the high-Class A Charlotte Stone Crabs.
Bellatti had thrown five shutout innings this year for the Crabs. The right-hander was 7-3 with a 2.97 ERA and five saves for Bowling Green last year.
Suarez suffered an oblique injury and left his start Friday after 1 1/3 innings. Merrill Kelly moves into the rotation.
