Peguero assigned to Biscuits

Pitcher Tony Peguero, a part of last year's championship team, appears headed back to the Biscuits.

Peguero, who is 2-4 with a 7.35 ERA at Class AAA Durham, has been assigned to Montgomery, according to the Durham Herald-Sun.

The Biscuits, after adding infielders Aaron Sisk and Rhyne Hughes, don't have an open roster spot.

The story also mentions that Mike Prochaska has been assigned to Hudson Valley, which is only a paper move.

The Rays have some juggling to do with Durham's Jeff Niemann and Tampa Bay's Jason Hammel leaving games early with shoulder tightness. Niemann will miss a start, though Hammel expects to stay on schedule.
