The Biscuits have put pitcher Darin Downs on the disabled list and activated outfielder Jason Perry. Perry has been out since May with a broken wrist.
According to a statement made by the Rays and released by the Biscuits, Downs is in "serious, but stable condition" at St. Vincent's.
