The St. Pete Times says Kazmir will fetch two minor leaguers from the Angels: left-handed pitcher Alex Torres (left) and third baseman Matt Sweeney (right).
Before the season, Baseball America ranked Sweeney 18th and Torres 24th in the L.A. organization.
Sweeney has a .299 average in 58 games at high-Class A Rancho Cucamonga. He just recently returned from a hip injury that cost him two months. Sweeney didn't play last year because of an ankle injury.
Torres is currently at Double-A Arkansas and has a 2.77 ERA in five starts. He started the year at Rancho Cucamonga and went 10-3 with a 2.74 ERA.
