Phillips dons team Masters pool crown

Pitcher Paul Phillips won the Biscuits' clubhouse pool over the Masters with his five players shooting a final-round 20 under to leave Phillips at 37 under.

Phillips had champion Phil Mickelson (16 under), Anthony Kim (12), Tiger Woods (11), Ernie Els (1) and Steve Stricker (3 over) on his card.

It was good for a two-shot win over catcher Ian Paxton. Pitcher Justin Garcia, who led by eight shots after Saturday's third round, was third at 34 under.

The participants picked five players in the tournament. If a picked player missed the cut, their second-round score was used in the third and fourth round for purposes of the pool.

To run down the other participants: second baseman Cody Cipriano was at 28 under, pitching coach Bill Moloney 21 under, pitcher Jeremy Hell at 9 under and pitcher Darin Downs 3 under.

Trainer Lee Slagle, anchored by Vijay Singh's missed-cut 10 over, limped home at 4 over. Singh shot a 78 Friday, which meant Slagle carried a 78 on both Saturday and Sunday.
