Montgomery native Paul Burnside won his final two starts for the Rookie-level Great Falls Voyagers and also carried home the Pioneer League's final pitcher of the week award.
Burnside threw six shutout innings Wednesday and allowed three runs over five innings Monday. He finished 7-3 with a 4.14 ERA.
West Tenn's Scott Savastano was the Southern League's top hitter. He had nine RBIs in his last five games, including five Sunday.
Mobile left-hander Wade Miley was the SL's top pitcher after throwing five shutout innings Aug. 31 and an unearned run in five innings Sunday. He finished 5-2 with a 1.98 ERA.
