Derek Dietrich and Ryan Garko hit back-to-back home runs to start the ninth inning and lift the Biscuits to a 9-8 win over the Pensacola Blue Wahoos on Wednesday.
Dietrich hit the inning's second pitch over the right-field wall to tie it 7-7. Garko put the fourth pitch also over the right-field wall to put Montgomery ahead.
It was the first time the Biscuits have hit back-to-back homers this year.
Mikie Mahtook followed with a triple and scored on a Mike Sheridan single, giving the Biscuits a two-run lead.
Pensacola's Billy Hamilton hit an RBI single in the bottom the ninth, pulling the Wahoos within one. Hamilton stole one base, giving him 148 this season between high-Class A Bakersfield and Pensacola.
The Biscuits rallied to win after trailing after eight innings for the second time this season and only the 14th time in team history.
Montgomery railed 7-2 after six innings. Mahtook hit a two-out, two-run single to cap a four-run rally in the seventh.
